Might be worth getting the pressure relief valve inspected, it should have opened at around the 3bar mark. To release the excess pressure, open a draincock, or you could do it from a radiator bleed valve, but this could take some time. Relieve the excess pressure before firing up the boiler.

Overheating? Faulty thermistor? When it is firing, are the radiators heaing up?

I often wonder if it is explained fully to end users the conditions of using these flueless fires, regular servicing essential, limited hours daily usage as a seconary heat source only etc

If either valve is not open, then there will be no flow through the rad.

Put bottle / container over pipe as suggested, leave boiler running and check later.

Is the cold water working at the same outlets?

But do not use the softened water for the heating side of the boiler.

Is the pressure relief pipe dripping, put a bottle or something over it, to see if it collects anything. Quite often, after the PRV opens, it does not reseat properly. Let us know if it is dripping.

The boiler manufacturers do not provide the condensate pipe, only a connection point on the boiler itself and guidelines on how to install it which are based on a british standard which advises internal runs where possible, maximum lengths and lagging / upsizing the pipe if run externally.

Was the working pressure correct at the meter?

Check your EV

If water comes out of the schraeder valve then the EV has failed. Fitting an external EV is common practice where replacing the internal EV would require removing boiler from wall.

Is your hot water working OK?

turn off stopcock in street, if you still have water on the kitchen cold supply then it must be fed from loft tank as Burnerman has said

Seeing as you are on a tiger loop, did you set the bypass screw?

Element resistance should be approx 19.2ohms. (assuming 3kW element) Just use the fibre washer
