    Used them today for the first time they were great. blody hard ceiling to do though ,boiling hot in the room its size was about 6 metres x 4metres going over artex. Stuff dried really quick had to throw fair bit of water on to close down.Turned out well though even got a £20 tip off customer...

    Board up yourself it will not affect the plastered finish,dont forget to stagger the joints.

    Intensive plastering courses

    Did one for 6 weeks last September as i was made redundent and part of the redundency package was any 6 weeks re training. The course was superb and i am now self employed earning £800 a week on average.

    If you have never done it before do not start on your kitchen, find a wall and practice otherwise you will fail big time. If you want a decent job get a plasterer in.

    4-1 MIX WITH CAP FULL OF FEB ,Leave scratch coat a couple of hours then apply finish coat,no need for battons.

    Fred when u apply 3 coats do u let the first coat set then spread the other 2 coats as normal or do u apply the 3 coats in quick succession as u would in 2 coat spreads.
