    it will cost you a fortune if you cut down end panels to use as plinths bear in mind you can have a bit of a gap at the top of the plinths because your not going to see it unless you get down on your hands and knees and look under the units

    Id level the floor first if its possible. if its not then ull have to work from the lowest point and cut the bottom of the end panels and the bottom of the plinths

    Can anyone reccomend any bathroom suite suppliers that are reasonably priced and ones that also do a budget range, Im using eastbrook at the minute but find them rather expensive and its putting customers off

    thats exactly the reason why you would get a plasterer because skimming is a skill even if it is with tile adhesive if you dont get it flat uve got a nightmare on your hands you might have to pay out if need be but thats the way it goes

    id get a plaster to come and skim over it for you that way it would be sealed and nice and flat for tiling ur never gonna get all the adhesive off and u only need a tiny bit to cause u problems once u start tiling get it prepared right from the start and makes the other jobs a lot easier
