    Electric light bulb adaptors?

How about a 60W Megaman (300W equiv.)? Same site also does 30W CFL's. Edit: Here does the 60W's cheaper and also 40W's.

    Leaking corner of bath

Perhaps your bath moves slightly everytime someone fills it / gets in it, which weakens the join between the bath and silicone? Ours used to do this and leak until we re-adjusted the feet and fitted an extra wall bracket, now it doesn't move at all and so far, no recurrance of the issue :)

    Picture of the week!™

I've already brought it up with them a few times (only been working there just over a month), but some of it is company supplied equipment so they're obviously not bothered... Their next 'elf and safety inspection / electrical testing is due in October, then they'll probably do something about it.

    Picture of the week!™

The guys at my work don't seem to have a problem sticking dodgy 2 pin european plugs into them :( they just push something into the earth (usually the clip off a pen) to open the shutters.

    Socket switch cover

You'd think so, but I doubt they speak or understand much English. I've since found the PlugLock at cpc which should be alright with a big "Do Not Switch Off" sticker on - maybe in multiple languages (well, it'll do for now).

    Socket switch cover

Mainly because this is in an office (serviced, so getting anything done takes ages and lots of paperwork) that we'll be moving out of next month, so we just need a temporary solution (better than sticking duct tape over the socket :P) :)

    Socket switch cover

Hi All, We have some computer equipment that our cleaners keep turning off. Does anyone know where I can purchase something I can fit to a standard 3 pin plug which will cover the switch on the socket to prevent people accidentally turning it off? Even better if it had a "Do Not Switch Off"...

My bedroom getting very hot when sunny

Clean/service your air-con and use that. Replace the filters if you're sure it's the air-con that spread the cold virus.

    Touch dimmer wiring query

Could be a faulty switch. The red LED means the unit is wired correctly (it's so you can find it in the dark), then when you touch the switch to turn the light on the LED should go off and the light fade up. I take it you calibrated it when you'd connected it and applied power (your...

HELP I HAVE A TINGLING FEELING

Where was your hand? If it was at the back of the sky box then you probably touched the plug of the cable to your dish, quite usual for it to give you a slight tingle as it carries power for the LNB.

    Dimmable Pull Switch (Bathroom)

I thought on these dimmable ones, it does matter which terminal the "input" in on? (Although I've not used one m'self)

    Markings on pavement

No utility company making official markings would do so on a street cab as that'd be criminal damage, so it's 99.9% likely to be graffiti.

We do this, but even after selecting the option not to deliver in plastic bags, we still get it delivered with about 2 items per bag... ah well
