IMHO the only thing the gas fitter has done wrong is fail to manage your expectations.

    Gap between cooker and wall

Wow! Hang on a minute Yartin.........How has the G.E. made a mess of it ? You mean he didn't move a gas pipe or valve after you no doubt told him " just put the cooker in there" ?

    Leaking shower sealant gap

All good sound advice from Madrab, especially the " DON'T use a seal ' ; they are just a recipe for a minging looking job ! Re the mosaics; it is very difficult to regrout successfully those small squares. Looking closer at that photo, they have another hole in at the 4th and 6 th rows up. i.e...

    Tiling trim??

The problem you have made for yourself is that the ' box' has been finished too low. Even without the ' removable' issue, it is still too low as you are attempting to tile level with the top of the sink. This is a two step fix :- 1. Raise the height of the box by another , say 100 mm, to...

Interest and then silence from trades

If I get a ' mass produced' e-mail or text, and they havnt even bothered to personalise it, even a wee bit, with my name or whatever, then I don't reply :- It's either someone just doing a ' Dutch auction' and looking for the lowest bidder ( which I never intend to be ) Or it's someone who...

    Floor tile in bathroom lifting

That was going to be my second step ; after you'd looked under the removed tile to see what the flooring was ! Lol. ( i.e. Any Hardibacker etc might not be visible under the bath, where there isn't any )

    Butchers block bevel protection?

Google 'food grade silicon sealant', there's quite a few. I tiled a kitchen a while back, where the Architect specified that I had to use Dowsil 786.

    Floor tile in bathroom lifting

It's hard to say remotely. Is it possible that the corner diagonally opposite the raised one has need shoved in under the wall tile too tightly ? Regardless, at the moment the first thing you have to do is get that tile out, then remove the adhesive from both the back of the tile and whats...

    Keeping the weeds down.

Another option is, as you can’t fill in the channel with pebbles to allow the air bricks to breath, is to make it sterile; buy some packets of salt and boil them up, pour this over the area. Repeat a few times a week apart, then the channel will become barren.
