I have changed my light switch to a dimmer switch.When i dim the light it will suddenly flicker then go bright then go dim again.It seems as if it has a mind of it's own.If i leave it on the high setting (Bright) no problem. Any advice would be helpfull. thank you.

Thank you for your advice at the end of the day there can be no (DIY) short cuts where brakes are concerned.The wall is stronger then my head.
