I am about to buy a camera charging lead from the USA. Please can someone confirm for me that the text "100-240V~" means that it will work correctly over the whole range of that voltage. Ie here in the UK as well as over in the USA. Thanks

I have been doing some more fault finding and have found a possible problem in the wiring from the CU to the lights. The wires on the left come from the CU (top) & to a single pole switch (bottom), the wire on the right goes to the lights. The switched live goes to what I think is neutral...

Emma, If you have changed all the bulbs then it can really only be the transformer or the power to it. Test the supply and if it is ok then your transformer is bust ! Oscar

I have a CU fitted with "Vinckier M6 Type 2" MCBs and I want to add a "Vinckier Type B" MCB to a spare way on the RCD side of the CU. I don't know what the significance of the "Type 2" & "Type B" are. Are these two: a. the same ? or b. compatable ? Thanks in advance.
