100-240V~ Is it OK ?

I am about to buy a camera charging lead from the USA. Please can someone confirm for me that the text "100-240V~" means that it will work correctly over the whole range of that voltage. Ie here in the UK as well as over in the USA.

Yes, it's OK.

It will have an electronic switching power supply that is stabilised and perfectly capable of accommodating such a variation of input voltage.
