Hi all, What is the easiest way for me to change to a wireless stat/timer. At present I have the boiler in the utility room, the timer in the airing cupboard ( Honeywell ST7199 ) and the standard rotary Honeywell stat in the hall but near the airing cupboard.

It could be likened to repairing an oil fired pressure washer at your home, it's principly the same as an oil fired boiler. Of course you could fix it.

I read somewhere that if the lever n a zone valve is put to the Manual position it should then move back to the Auto position when the system starts up as normally i.e. when the programmer tells it to. On mine, I went to drain it down to clean it out and noticed the lever was in the manual...

Thanks I didn't realise there was a lever for this. On finding the lever I notice it's actually on Open rather than Auto. What effect would this have had on everything ????.

I think the two settings I and many others have is a bit of a lay off between each other. Because if , boiler is set high and room stat is set at say 25, because surely the boiler would cut off once the room stat has reached 25 but get there quicker, not hotter ?
