If i got a different programmer what re-wiring would be required.Is it a case of just connecting the existing wires that come into the old programmer to the appropriate numbered connections on the new programmer. If i got them wrong would it damage anything.

Plugwash what size earth wire should i use.The same size as the lighting circuit,the same size as the plug socket circuit or bigger and how do i test that it is earthed properly.

That book has helped me out a lot.Can't just throw it away. At least it explains things properly unlike Haynes manuals on cars. serously is it safe what i am doing as the book suggests.
