I popped down my local DIY centre and was looking at some 3183Y 3G 2.5mm wire.Thats what it said on the reel.On closer inspection of the wire stamped on it was HO5VV-F.So there you have it.These are the same wires. :D Incidently how can you tell what ampage the wire is as it didn't say.

Not everyone likes coving.I've removed all my coving and had the walls and ceiling plastered and got rid of that horrible artex as well. I've had no problems.

I had the same problem when i had my extension built.I can use decorators filler.But there is a more flexible filler that i have used designed for movement in walls and ceilings.Can't remember who make it now.Unibond i think.Anyway just go to a DIY store and look for the specialist...

+/- 7mm in places.I,m also tiling between 2 rooms.The kitchen floor is dead flat.The utility room is not.Also where the 2 rooms join the floor bumps up a bit to join the kitchen.You wouldn't know unless you put a spirit level or straight edge on it.

From what i have found latex self leveling compound is expensive.£50 a go.Does anyone know if you can get it cheaper.Also can water based compound go on top of latex.If this is the case its much cheaper.

Thanks thats brilliant.I don't think i will use flexi-pipe as you said.The tails on the monobloc tap are pretty bendy and as long as the rest of the plumbing is close to them i won't have a problem.Thanks again

Thanks Peter I was going to fit the tap to a flexi-connector with an isolater but can only find flexi-connectors with compression fitting one side and tap connector the other with a isolater or flexi-pipe with no isolater and compression both sides.I know i could fit an isolator on its own but...
