As Sparky says you need a new panel/bell battery. It should be a 7ah but as its diy a 3.2ah will do if you can't get the bigger battery in. Depends on the amount of detectors/current draw from the panel when mains is not present. I normally install a 7 amp hour if there is more than 5 PIR's connected in the panel.

Risco panel went in today @sparkymarka.

@sparkymarka I sent the shop owner what needed done and the system will not register the chime. He did say that 5&7 flash up on the screen all day so it looks like there is a zone/tamper problem. Would this stop him trying to put chime on zone 1? Now I found out it’s not maintained by ADT so...

Yeh the Enforcer can power 1 x Deltabell plus.

Remove battery, switch mains of, turn back on, add battery and reset the system to clear the fault.

To default I’m sure on power up press reset x2? Then enter default code.

Each installer will have their preferred system but I install Risco Wireless and have done for 10 years with no major issues. We use Orisec bells and I have one of their wireless systems on test and its decent. Just make sure you install 2 way wireless.

Sounds like it needs a new battery in the panel. Remember to check voltage at battery terminals as this could be faulty if the battery has not been changed in a long time. Should read between 13-13.5v.

It’s a scantronic alarm installed by ADT. There will be a control panel hidden away somewhere in a cupboard and that is where you need to replace the battery. A yuasa 7Ah battery would be my choice.

Gardtec cpx has a built in dialler.

We use Risco I Wise PIR's but have also used Texecom and Optex with no problems. You can still get the Gardscan PIR and ceiling bracket direct from Risco but you have to be in the trade. Im sure amazon sell them.
