Turn Chime on ADT Alarm

I sent the shop owner what needed done and the system will not register the chime.
He did say that 5&7 flash up on the screen all day so it looks like there is a zone/tamper problem. Would this stop him trying to put chime on zone 1?
Now I found out it’s not maintained by ADT so can I default this panel and start again?
