Not sure this is entirely possible but here goes.

I’ve fitted a shed PIR which is in all areas. I’ve also added a chime so when we’re in and the alarm is unset if anyone goes in the shed we’d know...

The problem is in one trip to the shed you end up with half a dozen chimes as the PIR keeps picking you up and chiming... Is there a way to have it only chime the once in a set time period?

Chime is set to single and not follow so it’s not that...

Cheers

Yup that would be the obvious solution but I had a spare PIR lying about so this is the cheap option / approach

Why not make the zone for the shed PIR a double knock which means it won't go off until it picks up a number of triggers within the knock period.

Cheers Leshill I thought about that too but then thought all I’m doing is delaying an alarm triggering in the event it is broken into
