I've just received the samples of the porcelain and they are not as nice as the quartz ...quartz it is looks loads better.

how does the look of the porcelain compare with the quartz as I've only seen the quartz,I'm waiting on a sample of the porcelain, the dude over the phone said theres not much difference in looks both kinds have the mirror flecks ,but the quartz needs more after care and is a bit more glossy

Whats the difference between the quartz floor tiles with mirror flecks compared to the porceline ones with silver mirror flecks apart from about 20 quid the porcelain ones are described as ....A fully rectified porcelain tile to imitate the extremely popular Quartz with mirror flecks.

Hi il be laying some White quartz 600 by 600 10mm deep polished floor tiles on to a concrete kitchen floor ,what I'm wanting to do if possible is butt join them so they have the look of an almost solid floor ,also what adhesive is best to use local place has bal n own branded stuff

some in ikea but not in the right colour they where 600 by 500 and only £10.00 a sheet

So by the looks of it there is quite a lot of choices when joining worktops ,one of the reasons I was looking for other kinds of jointing is that colorfil comes in such small tubes ,waterproof d3 Pva is quite cheap so is other sealants compared to colorfil

yes its the masons mitre ,the stuff from screwfix, if it was ok for worktops would also stick the backboard on under the units ,i was thinking 2 birds with 1 stone n all that... :?

Ive been looking around for the best sealant/jointing compound to join worktops so far ive got waterproof pva or,bushboards complete but thats 25 quid a tube plus p+p :? and none local to me.. also colorfi,l now ive seen this stuff ..any views on the product would help. Its or jointing a black...

never heard of the bushboards jointing compound ,where is it available from pal
