Does combi have minimum mains pressure requirement

Thanks, gas "shouldn't" be a problem as we are on a bulk tank with a high pressure regulator and a high pressure underground feed pipe and then the low pressure regulator is installed at the annex itself.

Does combi have minimum mains pressure requirement

Hi, It's all happening at once. Let property has Baxi back boiler on LPG. It has provided stirling service and is still going strong. HOWEVER the property only has an EPC 'F' so cannot now be legally rented out. It needs to be an 'E' at least. Apart from digging up the solid floors and...

Powermax 155x not firing for central heating

Looks like your flow switch is leaking. I replaced the poor gaskets with "14MM ID X 4MM METRIC NITRILE 70 RUBBER O-RING" from eBay.

    Leaking Oil Stanley Range

Off topic slightly. Have had LPG for heating our annex for many years and were 'locked in' to companies with tank swaps required to change companies. You no doubt have a good 2 year contract, but if you do nothing prices will creep up, bit like insurance. Whilst not available on the 'Go Compare'...

Water shock Arrestor - Any tips ?

Just about to fit one of these to reduce some noise when a machine is going through it's motions. Water pressure is, I believe, quite high. Is it just fit and forget or do I need to fiddle with the pressure for best results ? Thanks

    Leaking Oil Stanley Range

I can understand. We have a Stanley and had difficulty finding an engineer to do a service when the previous one stopped due to ill health. Current engineer is very good though. Bit of a long shot but what part of the UK are you in, he might travel within reason ? We are in Somerset Might be...

Baxi Bermuda back boiler - kettling - worth flushing?

Hi I am not a heating engineer so others might jump in with better advice, I was just giving my experience. My boiler is a Baxi Bermuda 552. There is a manual for mine at http://interpart.partsarena.eu/ I have just checked. Another here...

Baxi Bermuda back boiler - kettling - worth flushing?

We have one of these in a let property which ran for years without problem then started a banging and popping. I wouldn't have called it kettling but you might. Long story short, problem was eventually found to be the plastic spreader insider the entrance to the heat exchanger. It is there to...

    Leak sealer needed

For a slow leak it's probably worth going around each radiator and tighten the bleed valve and it's fitting and the opposite end blanking plug. Then the valve nuts and most importantly the valve spindle nuts. All of these can leak but the water can evaporate before you see it.

Grant vortex combi boiler losing pressure

Just posted on a similar thread, my neighbours Grant boiler was losing water from the PRV. I checked the expansion vessel and changed the PRV. Same problem, so reluctantly swapped the expansion vessel then found the flexi hose on the expansion vessel was completely blocked so the expansion...

Boiler losing pressure every day, replaced PRV, Gauge not showing high pressure

While checking pressure vessel it would be worthwhile checking any hose that connects it to the boiler is not blocked. I had a similar problem with neighbour's boiler. Changed expansion vessel and PRV to no avail, but found the flexi hose was clogged solid. New hose was required (and system...

    Help with toilet continually filling

Looking at the overflow pipe in the middle I think it is just over-filling rather then an issue with a leaky flush valve.
