Fit a Tee to a rigid length of pipe.

I need to tee into a rigid 28mm pipe. I can obviously cut out sufficient pipe and would be able to get one end of the tee into place but not the other.
So...how would the pros do it...if it can be done ??

Slip coupling.

Or brute force and ninja skillz.

Example cut 3" of pipe out.
fit T, fit small section of pipe and a slip coupler

Or get a round file, take the 28mm Tee, and file away the pipe stop, creating a slip Tee

Don't think any of my tee's would do that - they all have shoulders.
