    Thanks for the post. I have another query about a wet room drainage. The floor is concrete and i wish to install a shower trap connected with a 2 or 3inch pipe to the toilet drain. Can you tell me approximate how much space i would need to create from top of floor level to fit in the shower trap.

    Will this be ok with building inspector? I dont mind not having screed at all as long as the buider get a smooth finish. If he isint confident enough to get a smooth finish is the no way i can work the screed and concrete with in 110mm?

    Which floor insulation

    Which floor insulation should i use, Polystyrene or celotex boards. I was thinking of using 100mm Polystyrene but wanted some of your opinions on what provides best insulation and wether its worth the extra cost. Its to go on a ground floor rear extension.
