Replacing Ball Valve in Hot Water Header Tank

Ball valve is dripping and a replacement washer didn't cure the issue so time to change. It's a 1/2" Type2 but how do I know if it's high or low pressure? I ask after the fact as I took the old one off, went to B&Q and bought what looks like an identical replacement. It's all fitted and...

Help with install of Sunvic wireless thermostat

The receiver is remote, it's in the hall where the previous thermostat was. It's designed to be flush OR surface mounted. The install instructions state that it can be mounted to a countersunk knockout box if one is available, otherwise use the supplied surface mount box.

Help with install of Sunvic wireless thermostat

It's a standard boiler. It's not a big issue and I can always consider countersinking a standard knockout box into the wall so that just the face plate stands proud. Job for another day that!

Just to update the thread, I bought a 207XL and replaced the faulty 207. Problem solved and all is working perfectly now. Given the weather that is a welcome relief! So happy with the result that I've ordered a wireless room thermostat now!

    Sunvic Select CH Timer Problem

Thanks. I found the installation manual for it, it's a Select 207 and now know how to remove it at least! I see there is a 207XL still available so presume this would be a straight swap but I'm wary of buying it of the clicking is a symptom of an issue elsewhere? Does anyone know if this...

Hi all, first post and hoping you can help. We have a Sunvic Select CH timer and a separate Sunvic Thermostat. Recently the timer has started clicking, sounds like a relay, when either the hot water or heating is on. It still works but the clicking is constant. At first it only ocurred...
