    Using steam mop on Amtico

Hi all We have Amtico LVT laid in our kitchen/diner. It's been down about a year. Can you use a steam mop on Amtico LVT that is glued down? I understand to remove damaged tiles you heat them so slightly concerned the steam mop may damage the integrity of the LVT but maybe just overworrying?

Hi all, Looking for suggestions on how to restore decking. My decking is six years old. I pressure wash it each year and apply clear oil but for the past two years I have struggled to really get rid of the seeped-in winter grime and just can't seem to shift that dull look. Are there any deep...

Problem with etching to glass ware

Slightly - tried rubbing lemon juice and then wiping and also soaking in white vinegar (as recommended on a website) but only slightly helped remove some of the mist. It would appear some glasses have a permanent etching/scratched appearance - the older glassware that has gone through more cycles

Problem with etching to glass ware

Hi there it's when the glasses become cloudy, like a misty film over them that can't be rinsed off. Even happens to 'dishwasher' safe glassware. Everything else is fine, cutlery nice and shiny, pans cleaned well and no cloudy residue around the machine.

Internal door grading - advice needed

Hi there I am looking to replace our internal doors. The current ones are the standard 35mm thickness but they must be the cheapest doors as they feel so lightweight and the middle panel is so thin they offer very little sound insulation when doors are closed. I'm going to be shopping around...

Replacing manual radiator valves with TRV valves??

Hi all, I am thinking of replacing the old manual valves on my radiators with Drayton TRVs, however upon further inspection it would appear due to the size of the locking nuts connecting the old valve tails I'll need to remove these also and fit the tails that come with the new TRVs and the...
