    Radiator gurgling noise

Could be pump cavitation if it is face down, if you know the make of pump it will show how the pump should be fitted and I believe if it's face down for long enough then the pump will be strained and work harder then gurgling could be because the pump stalls then ramps back up, be good to know...

    Radiator gurgling noise

Gurgling noises can be down to bad design say if the pump is set to max and the trv on low this can restrict the flow and cause the boiler to heat the water to quick resulting in a gurgle sound like when a kettle boils and it rumbles, usually a auto bypass on the system or a modulating pump can...

    replacement of boiler

I would save for now and replace when dead to be honest, old units are less carbon friendly yes but parts are peanuts compared to modern boilers look up parts on the net for Worcester and you will near keel over, what you save on gas minimal to parts you will need in say five years time, keep it...

    replacement of boiler

Is there anything wrong with the old unit? Or is it just old? If it's not broke and all, but the quote is high but bg have bigger over heads than local rgi's so is a set charge I would go with the above a get other quotes we can't see the install so could be a pig, but then it could be a tidy...

    Finding someone to re-do bathroom

No don't need to work in London xr 4x4 just need to value yourself better, £100 a day is shamefully cheap is that with a garentee and insurance? After tax, public liability, diesel and tools works out at about £60 a day. Just my opinion though if your happy with that carry on.

It's hit and miss with the blocks you are on about they are fitted so the baths can be stacked in to each other, I have bopped them off loads of times with a rubber mallet never had a problem as they are glued on th the fiberglass, if it's a 3mm bath leave them if it's a 5mm bath give them a...

Glow-worm still f5 after new heat exchanger !!!

I take it is a combi due to the fact of the exchanger being replaced and also assume it was the secondary plate to plate exchanger, if not with some of the parts changed you should of scrapped the unit. The diag above is more what I would of gone with in the beginning but then again who at...
