    new toilet floor

I had wanted the transition between the wooden threshold at the stair to the tiled finish to be level, but I don't think that this is achievable. I haven't looked at any threshold plates - where would be the best place to look at the options?

    new toilet floor

The toilet is on a qtr turn on the stairs so the threshold is the bullnose of the "stair" which in turn is level with the floorboards. given that the boards are c.18 mm thick, replacing with 18mm ply will give me the tile finish being proud, which was what I had hope to avoid but it sounds as...

    Outdoor tiled table top

I plan to tile an outdoor table top - using exterior ply as a base but do I need to be careful of what type of tiles I buy? The table will be left out all year, so I do not want to have cracked tiles due to frost.

tiled floor but wasn't keen on tiling it as the floor tiles as quite thick. Also, only got 1 floor tile left over and would have to buy a full box to tile what is a relatively small area of cut tiles! I had bought the shower tray myself, before the plumber had seen it, on the assumption that...
