If there is a long dead leg of existing hot drawoff pipe back to old cylinder position it takes of few more seconds for pressure to build up to shut the divertor valve down causing it to overheat slightly and toast the diaphragm

Sounds like dirt in the flue venturi, good boiler get it serviced

when it goes to fault, fan only running. check for 240v at terminals at right hand side of pcb, 47 48 49 they should all be live, if no volts at 49 job for a GRI as you have to open combustion chamber

Try changing the c/h sensor with one of your spares

When this boiler first came out there was an issue with the O ring on the by-pass bobbin that caused a whine. Sounds like you have the same problem. Replace the bypass bobbin, O ring, flow diaphragm and front seal, job done. Like DP said great boiler
