I know I could feather it out with easi fill but I don’t think you can use easi fill thicker than 6mm can you?

Just like to fill that are out but it’s a bit too much for multi finish I’m guessing. Wondering if I could fill it out with bonding and then smooth it out with a easi fill or something similar? Your advice is much appreciated.

Not the greatest photo but it down by where the skirting will go there is about a 10mm bow on the finishing. When skirting is on it will look quite bad.

There was definitely no film applied on the back of the polystyrene. There is a thin foil layer between Plasterboard and polystyrene, I believe this is a vapour barrier. The battens used were 3 x 2 but lay on the wall on the 3” side. So the hole was drilled through the centre of the 2” side.

So the electrics have been wired directly to my fuse box with 2 new RCDs I think they are called. 1 for lighting and one for sockets. Should this polystyrene plasterboard have been passed off by building regs?

I don’t know what the builders used. There is the same amount of polystyrene to plasterboard and there seems to be a silver foil inbetween the 2 substrates.

Oh I just thought you couldn’t run electric cables behind polystyrene backed plasterboard.

I don’t unfortunately. The wires were run through holes in the battening. With it being polystyrene backed plasterboard with this cause problems with the wiring if it’s not in conduit?
