    master 2004 rear lights issue

Bottom red might be rear fog? To Test: Dipped main beam, ignition on, and the rear fog switch turned ON, outside one (offside, behind the driver) should light? The inside one (nearside, behind passenger) might not have anything inside, depends. Top red seems to be working OK, no? Good luck...

Anyone own a Qualcast Turbo SR 46 (petrol)?

Click for E-Bay link But if you get a cheap metric set of keys in the market (or a lend of a set), it should have the size you need. Tap directly on the screw with a hammer first, then tap the key into a cleaned out hole. Small bit of turning force and keep tapping the allen key in to the...

Help with measuring and fitting side gate.

750mm + 50mm + 50mm +20mm +20mm = 890mm 50mm timber, 20mm clearance all round might be a bit on the big side for clearance, but if you go for the 800mm 800mm + 44mm +44mm +10mm +10mm = 908mm So that one seems a bit tight at 10mm clearance and 44mm timber. If the space is not square, you will...

    Lawn Edging

As above, we put a small 50mm wide cement edge around ours for ease of maintenance. The lawnmower runs on it and if you strim, the line just cuts to the level of the top. We used a flat top edge rather than a round, easier for maintenance. Curves, you will have to make a mould, so not as easy as...

    Sun awning automation

Very elegant fix to the problem. How will you stop over voltage to the relay coil, when the wind comes up? I was trying to think of a way around it, but failed. If you look at the specification of the wind sensors, they will probably control your motor.

door pin on passat estate will not rise or unlock

Local main dealer puts a bar down alongside the window from the outside and hits it a drive, not for the faint hearted. See video .................. Lawn Mowers

And if you take the belt back off will it run when plugged in, is the motor free to spin? Any tightness in the bearings will stop the motor from starting. What make/model of mower are you fixing? Always use a RCCB/ELCB cutout on the lead for safety, when using an electric mower

    Omega problem.

Try without the air filter, just to test. Fuel filter? Look for air leaks into the inlet manifold/fractured plastic pipes. Wouldn't think its plugs/leads but they might know best having, heard it running You could try some of the Vauxhall forums, might be a common problem?

    Lawn Mowers

The higher power rating will allow you to keep cutting without it overheating, well in theory anyway. I'd collect rather than mulch and keep it simple, the less stuff on the mower the less to give trouble ..............

Cutting conifers, cool long reach tool out there?

I have no knowledge of the original posters training. But, they are available for the general public to purchase/use, I have no control over that. I totally agree with you, they are extremely dangerous even with training. If in doubt, get a professional in to do it for you
