hi, with the bulbs out of the car does anyone know how you can tell the difference between a xenon and a normal headlight bulb/ ie-55w-60w. halfords say you cant/ only by using them in the car ie-trial and error. as in normal i mean standard bulbs for an 93 escort. regards.r.r.

:) ya thanks for your reply/ r.gamma. as i said it was just a thought, im not thinking of doing it. as i said i was more intrested in how it would effect exhaust reading at mot. i suppose at end of the day if the examiner stuffed a rag up the second pipe -he would get a normal reading anyway...

thanks for reply .r-gamma, :) it was most helpfull/ and explained the workings of the exhaust system fully, car has only just had mot so no bother there. i just thought if it was done like that and split into 2 it would maybe affect the emission results, in favour of the car owner. :) a bit...

just a thought [ get em now and then ] if you split a single pipe exhaust at back of car [ most cars ] and put another pipe other side, would it make any difference to the mot test emisions ?. regards. r.r.

yes tekkiesteve, cooling fault i can sort out if i find one/ it didnt actually go to danger zone , but was getting rather on hot side for small traffick jam and given the cold weather at the mo. the clutch as i said has good solid grip and wont slip whatever i try. it was ok when cooled down...

ive been and altered some settings on me comp/ .windows xp. version 2002. ive lost the green arrow top left and right of screen , to go back or farward from page im on/. i now have to click on the x at top right to close page and then start all over again .. .what do i do to put it right ...

just a thought / have you dissconected battery lately ?. as the haynes manual says if so,the ecu will need to learn its idling and operating values again.... .that will also cause problem you got, as it did to my 94 escort. hope this helps. r.r.
