yes , i believe you can now run it into plastic gutters , but i would suggest some mesh cover for the gutter incase of blockage. i;e leaves.

if you look at your own sketch , the pulling and pushing of water in the heating circuit would have a negligible effect on the gravity pipes.

if you dont have the decorating cap , turn the valve off , drain rad into a builders rubble bag (easier to get around pipes and catch the water) then get a 15mm female iron blanking cap and fit it onto the open trv end.

on the heating side the pump pulls heat out and pushes cooler water in therefore causing circulation. on a gravity system the pipes have no choice but to circulate unless airlocked.

frost protection ? thought we were in a state of global warming. :lol:

two pipes from h/x to coil in cylinder and two pipes to heating. the water is the same in both . h/x is a box full of water, basically.

what filling loop

fitted it in a ground floor flat living room. it can be a swine to fit if your corners are not square and your walls are not straight.Took two of us a day to fit 16 m.

standard gravity job.are you running heating aswell, if so , makke sure you dip the flow on the heating side.

anyone fitted one of the combined heat and power boilers yet.
