    Low Iz Reading...

    I have a periodic inspection report stating "low IZ reading on neutral to earth on D/S lighting circuit although above minimum set by 17th Ed Regs. I know this means its safe, according to 17th Ed, but what does it actually mean in english!!? :)

    Coax Return Feeds - Problems!

    I was just having that same eureka moment actually...I guess a sky box does the job of a boosted splitter, so was thinking about getting a 2-way to wire in at the lounge - aerial coax in, return out to loft, 2nd out to tv. And hopefully job done...! :)

    the store i got the basin from said that the tap I hap was the most compact - so I did a 30 second search on t'interweb last night and found one in a diferent style - same size yes, but different mechanism, therefore better suited to the basin/position... :wink:

    Think I'm going to go for a single lever tap, the ones where the lever is in the top of the tap...that would solve the issue... Don't like their design, but don't have much choice! And I don't like bodging things if I don't have to... :( [/img]

    I'm tiling the flor of my ensuite, but haven't got a clue how to finish it off in the door way leading to the carpeted bedroom - there is a slight hight difference.. Is it acceptable to use a modified carpeting door bar, or is there a specific device made for this task!!? ta... Netto :)

    Wowsers, this must have foxed a lot of people... :roll: Well, I put an undiluted coat of PVA on first, followed by a 2:1, then a 5:1, and touch wood all is now ok ... I guess this wall just needed a lot of PVA!! Will update when the paint goes on... :wink:
