Is this work that you would do? Could you be more competitive than this and are there any more cost effective ways of doing the job? I like the work on your website. When I have a bigger budget for projects, I might be commissioning so work!! Cheers for the advice.

    DIY bathroom cabinet.

yeah, sorry bad use of terms, realise that the veneer is stuck to MDF. They've quoted me £250+vat for 2 x 800mm x 450mm x 40mm lengths. Fairly reasonable I would say, although still a lot of money (the unit I'm replicating is only £400). Guess zebrano is expensive and using another...

    moving boiler beneath worktop

I currently have a Alpha boilers PB24. It is sat on top of the work top at the moment and I'd like to have it moved into the cupboard beneath. What are the regulations regarding this? I've heard that it needs to be a certain distance off the floor, is this a corgi issue or a technical issue...

Do I tile before fitting kitchen?

Might be the wrong section, but a simple quick question. Am fitting my kitchen next week, and have been thinking of ripping out the old one then tiling the floor before fitting the new units. I'm now thinking I should fit the new units first, then tile the floor last as I am not going to tile...

    fixed shower heads

are the arms on fixed shower heads universal? Or do diffferent companies have different fitments? The reason I ask is that I would like to purchase a square head fixed shower which has a right angle arm. I'd like to swap the arm for a vertical arm that comes down from the ceiling.

how much adhesive, how much money?

hmmm, 12mm I think. I was thinking of using both for floor and walls. the walls are plasterboard, which have been previously tiled or skimmed. I will ask if they do any thinner for the walls, but I suspect they only sell one thickness.

how much adhesive, how much money?

and... it's only about half the tiles being used for the floor, the rest is for the wall, would it be better to get normal, non flexible adhesive and grout for this (cheaper?) thanks in advance.

how much adhesive, how much money?

thanks and do you know what people use on light travertine? I think white would look cleaner, although ivory or natural would match the tile. personal preference, or is there a rule of thumb?
