It's a mk6 golf 1.6tdi. ..its the connector that goes into the brake pad wear sensor fitted onto the pad. The pad side is fine. Should have took a pic really

Hi guys...my brake pad wear sensor light came on the dashboard..weird I thought as I just changed the discs n pads just under a year ago..anyway on closer inspection removing the wheel I notice the cable somehow got cut...the connector on the brake pad is fine...its the male connector coming...

OK.. guys just an update..I think I found out what the problem was...it was the the standard car stereo draining the battery..I took it out and removed the power from it...2 weeks on so far so good..battery is fine car starts ok...just need to get a replacement stereo...

Hi guys ..I just took off the end cap on my bristan bar shower just to see if could adjust anything.. the screw came out and the cap fell in the shower..a small tiny locking washer fell out...does it go behind the screw or on the inside of the cap..I'm assuming it's there to stop the screw...

Could do as sfk mentioned but will homserve approve that...I was thinking of getting a surface mount back box..and fitting the fcu onto that...the surface mount box will have pushouts for cable coming in from socket and boilet cable...but how will I add 2.5mm cable to existing socket to go to...

The boiler is about 8 yrars old.. They guy just left earlier have to wait to see if homserve will cover my boiler...so basically I need to run a 2.5mm cable from the socket into a 3A fcu to which the boiler cable is wired too?

Hi guys ...i just had a boiler health check done by homserve to see if they will cover my vsillant combi boiler..they guy checked it out and said its working fine...however he said the plug needs to be connected to a 3A fused spur...by the socket ...see pic..he said the present plug has a 13A...

I can understand first bsttery being bad as it lasted a week in April.. replace it with a different one at thst time and has lasted over 8 months ...until now so if something was draining the bsttety would have done ages ago..not now..cud be intermittent fault somewhere or maybe this bsttery is...

Battery gone flat again...car been parked up 3 days, was starting up normally prior to that..looks like another duff battery...need to find receipt for replacement
