Is VCGB 282 EH meaningful in this context ?? Found it on some paperwork.....

No - its about half that height. Two doors - Top door has the boiler bit, bottom smaller door has the controls - Temperature Knob, Pressure Gauge, Temperature Gauge, On/Off, Flame Failure Warning Light and Reset Button. Looks kind-of like an old-fashioned version of this...

I have a Vaillant something-or-other LPG boiler. It is part of a sealed system (where you top it up through a filling loop), with no other model names or numbers on it, but it must be at least middle-aged as all of the service numbers on the sticker inside are before the '01' dialling code...

Ok - Its been nearly ten weeks and no-one's mentioned it yet....... Craig in the Big Brother house would appear to suffer from some sort of mental illness and is what most people would describe as crazy. If he comes out of the house, sees the footage, and then hangs himself, who's responsible ?

I believe that the reason that American comedies started showing sketches over the end credits was to keep people watching, as there would have been an ad break just before it. I'm going to stick my neck out and say it started with Roseanne, but may be wrong.

Has anyone noticed that the ad break in a half-hour programme now seems to come very early on - maybe only 6 or 7 minutes in. Do you think they are trying to soften us up for 'going American' and slip another ad break in during the remaining two-thirds of the programme ? And secondly...

Not that I buy into the conspiracy, but I thought that the point behind faking it was to give a big 'Yah Boo Sucks !!' to the Russians and boost national pride during the cold war. They'd got the first man in Space, but the Americans had the first man on the moon.........

What is the etiquette for escaping from a burning plane. Surely, as a 35 year-old father of three under-6's, it is more important in the grand scheme of things that I get out rather than, say, a 70 year-old woman (or man), but it doesn't seem like the done thing. Has anyone any suggestions...
