Aqua Board and dot and dab on plaster board

I would be inclined to make a wooden frame, then screw the aqua board to that. I would strongly advise you not to bond aqua board using dot and dab. Remember: Bathroom - Steam / Moisture. Plus think about the weight of the tiles you will put onto that.

    Distemper paint? Skimming question

I would try to remove it using paint stripper, if not, you could replace the area with a base such as bonding plaster and then skim over as usual. Tip: You could scratch a 'key' into the paintwork / plaster deeply and then plaster over it. Make a hash pattern with a sharp tool.

Cracks in Pebbledash / Exterior Wall Damage

If you don't see anything in the corner of the room it could be covered up, as problems are covered up in houses with plasterboard and plaster. If the ceiling was uneven it could have affected the ceiling structure above, which may need repair, or it could be due to a sagging old ceiling under...

Cracks in Pebbledash / Exterior Wall Damage

Looks to be general building movement, check for signs of water ingress, you have two options: 1. Reinforce the brick stack by using rods and cement 2. Rebuild the brick stack. Seems to be water pushing it out, check for signs of damp / rotting fascias too.

What render would you advise for this?

Id recommend Snowcrete has a beautiful white finish and you can use stones with it. Also with any rendering leave a band of about a few inches from the bottom. It prevents damp ingress.

wich plasterboard for building regs for shop & flat abov

Yes this the correct method you have mentioned above, I would make sure that the boards are screwed into place it depends how many minutes fire resistance you want as one fireline board only provides 30mins, id double the fireline board then soundsheild over that.

Yes it is functioning properly, continuty is there in all three conductors. I only want to add one extra socket. How would I go about extending the ring? Just to confirm there are two cables going into the existing socket. Yes it is RCD protected.

Adding a spur to a socket.

Right ok. It is a ring circuit and I don't think it is spurred as it is the only double socket in the room. I meant if I move the existing double socket in the new location presumeably after that I can spur off that? I would have to extend the wire via JB to the new location.
