luminaire, but the switch is a double dimmer and also controls a set of 6 spotlights in the dining area (which work ok) and the MCB fuse is for the whole of the downstairs which all work bar the 6 in the kitchen...!?? help

Hi, i have 6 ceiling spotlights in my kitchen from 1 switch, last night the fuse went so i flicked it back on at the CU, but now none of the lights come on, it doesnt look like any of the bulbs have blown(gone black) Do i have to take out each bulb one at a time to see which bulb has gone...

Hi, i replaced my front room light , there was 2 cables coming out of the ceiling which i connected up to the terminal block which was supplied with the light, but they also supplied a single terminal block which they described as 'Loop' i didnt use that bit as there was no other wires to go...

Hi, as im about to start to think about starting the en-suite shower/toilet/sink i was wondering if it is possible to put the sink and shower waste pipes directly into the 150mm horizontal soil pipe within the area of the en-suite. Is that allowed and ok? or do i have to run all the 3 waste...

well it is more than 150mm from gas pipe , its just next to the water pipe

oh should the cable be in front of the pipes then?

so how far away should the fused switch be? ....and the light does work its just a bit feint :D
