Any difference between DW622 and DW622K?

True but it does mention in the manual about using it inverted which made me think they may supply some screws. I have spoken with trend and they said they would ship some out as they should have come with the table apparently. I will keep that in mind when they arrive as to what fits and make...

    Cutting off excess wood

The boards are 18mm thick. And it's good to know I have the correct saw for the job. :-)

    Cutting off excess wood

Ah cool. I have one of these which seems similar... https://www.screwfix.com/p/stanley-fatmax-fine-cut-saw-11-tpi-20/97361#product_additional_details_container Would that work or is it the wrong saw? Thanks James

    Cutting off excess wood

Erm it is 250mm from top to bottom. Just had a look at the panel saw and I don't have one of them in my garage lol. Is a cross cut saw one of them two handed saws? As thats what they look like online? Would a normal hand saw one of the universal ones do the job or would that lean in? Thanks...

Any difference between DW622 and DW622K?

Thanks it was more that the table says us compatible. I have now found out where I was going wrong I was putting the router in back to front. Bizarrely though dewalt nor trend have sent any screws to mount the router so I have asked trend to see what they say... Thanks James

    Cutting off excess wood

Hello, I have made an Octagonal tunnel where the individual boards were "cut to size" and it's been glued together. I have now found a couple of the boards are a tad longer then the rest. So I am wondering whats the best approach for dealing with this so they are all the same length while...

    Making a bath shelf

Thanks it's for a shelf while the other half is in the bath to have candles on and read her kindle and a drink... To give you an idea something similar to this https://i.pinimg.com/736x/ce/0d/54/ce0d54bd07470bb67d1242970829db6c--bath-tub-caddy-trays-bath-tub-tray-diy.jpg I also looked at...

    Reclaimed Wood

Yeah it's good that they will exchange. I think I will just check everything before purchase. This sounds like the best option all round. Plus the place is about 10 minutes drive from me so it's not too far if I do find anything. Thanks James

    Making a bath shelf

Thank you again. I presume solid pine is the same as normal pine white/red pine? I was looking at something which will show off the wood grain and won't take alot of work to maintain. What would you recommend? Thanks James

    Reclaimed Wood

I will do thanks for the advice. I would have thought they would have taken that sort of stuff out and only sell the stuff which is viable. That's not good especially when your paying for it they should be more stringent about the wood they are putting up to sell. I will have a good look at...

    Reclaimed Wood

Hello, What are people's thoughts on reclaimed Wood? I have been told you can get stuff cheaper and get more than a wood yard in these places. So I am wondering what to expect as I am thinking of going to one either at weekend or during the week... I have found this place which seems to...

Any difference between DW622 and DW622K?

Hello, I am curious if there is any difference with the 'K'? The trend site and when I spoke to them they said that DW622 is compatible with the Trend CRT/MK3 however nothing seems to line up and I am confused as it says no redrilling is required on the compatability list...

    Good set of chisels

Ah thank you some of the videos I have watched show the stone being wetted with water. I presume this is incorrect or bad practice maybe? It sounds like a good plan to just get what is needed when it's needed since screwfix is not far from me anyway. I just like getting decent tools that last...

    Good set of chisels

Great thank you. This is the first thing that I am going to make which is "proper" in a sense as all the other stuff I have made thus far is for the animal cages which they chew so if its not quite right its not that much of an issue as they will destroy it anyway. So I am trying to make better...

    Good set of chisels

Thanks I was thinking of making it with some small wheels so it could go on either side and maybe a cut out for a drinks holder. Would you have to still glue the wood inside the joint I take it? Thanks James

    Good set of chisels

I am looking at making something similar to this so I think its a mortise and tenon joint anyway.. I presume this would just be knocked in and no glue required? https://i.pinimg.com/736x/f5/c3/91/f5c3910752110830ea09558763de2efe--black-sofa-tv-trays.jpg Thanks James
