    Cavity Tray Installation

If you put your hand in and feel if it comes down from the inner skin, you're ok. You'd need to drill out the perps nearest to its ends. The problem would be, that that is where it would fold to create its end stop.

    Flow and Return

Just the extension Madrab. And when all is finished, I intend to take off the iso valves and solder the system as it was. I've read that it's a big risk to leave them on and just carry on from there.

    Flow and Return

Hi. I will be demolishing an old extension next week, in which there are three rads. I would like to cap the flow and return at house wall level, so that when i replace with new extension, i can create a copy of the missing system. Can i just cap off the 22mm pipes, or is there a need to keep...

    Lintel sizes underground

Hi. Can anyone tell me if there is a recommended size of concrete lintels, for bridging over where my waste drainage passes through the courses below ground level. I will be adding 150 to each end, and the opening will only be 110mm plus the 50mm all round for movement. ( plus maybe a little to...

    Creating an airflow

Would like to know how to create the 5mm slot i seem to require, at the ridge for the airflow through my soon to be built roof. It will be Cembrit Jutland slates, sitting on 175mm insulation, between my 200mm rafters. Ventilation of 25mm needed, so i will counter batten. I can have grilles in my...

    Lean to shed

Need far more detail mate. Material, type of roof, what will be going on inside. Best bet to start off would be a trawl of the internet, and get a photo of the nearest thing you want.

No. Personally, my gripe is with any of the leeches getting one.

Tony Blair is now Sir Tony.

haha, typical socialist. What you could have said, is, "well done to the elected Government for not trying to gain any political advantage" instead, you try to slant it with, they've done some things wrong themselves so they better not say anything. When the opposition ( very loose term ) has...

    New driveway

Arrogant, opinionated and argumentative. Probably like this off social media too. Happy New Year to all who help contribute to this great source of information site, and ensure that we can all save some time and money, whilst doing the requested task as it should be done.

Solid wall with plaster on top

If you're careful you could drill new holes in the cistern, or just one in the centre. Bit of silicon or other grabbing agent ( if you want to ), and you're done.

    Bathroom install

can I replace a Drayton Digistat 1 with a Drayton 1 channel Heat Hub?

wrong page mate. this is to showcase your projects, step by step to help others. Go to the plumbing and central heating forum. has people responding every hour, minimum.
