    Hello I would like some advice please, I live in a two bed flat and have a back boiler and cylinder, I believe the boiler to be a Baxi Burmudea and its rather old, Would i save anything in money per year having a combi boiler installed I should add i live alone. Thanks for any advice Dave

    Thank you for the information and just to clarify that even thu i have a copper main then changed to plastic and then back to copper i do not need to earth the pipe or the sink as this is no longer a requirment, and it does not matter that there will be no earth at all for the sink and pipes...

    i have read on some web pages that as you say kitchen sink does not require earthing, is this beacuse its earthed on the incoming main, if this is the case i have broken that connection as i have used hep20 or do i just not need to earth the sink at all, im sorry for been thick

    lol well i am a non hairy a---d pipe fitter lol, but will have a go at fixxing it tonight, and yes the screw holes on the basin are angled in at the worst position, but as i said with all my years of pipe fitting hundreds of large boiler rooms im sure i weill be able to cock it up just fine
