Hi I have changed a few ignition boards on this boiler and I think it sounds similar. The board I am meaning is attached to the gas valve and you can sometimes smell it burning. The fault occurs now and again but never when you are trying to find it. Good luck!

Washing machine has its heater so cold fill only will do . A lot of new machines are cold fill only , they only have one hose

Isolation needs to be considered as well,does the tenant in top flat have access to the gas meter.

First check there might be a filter on the inlet pipe to the shower. I have had this problem several times. Clean the filter and Robert is your mum's brother..... It is unusual to have a blockage in your hot water pipe. Good luck.

hi you need to split the tap at the swivel joint there is an o ring inside might want replacing or lubricating .There should be a little screw at the base of the swivel might be at the back slacken screw and pull top part of tap off some taps have no screw so you have to move tap a certain...

HI you could try sealant ,i think you would be better using a compound called plumbers mate, its non setting and will allow for movement . its very sticky hard to get off hands best wear thin plastic gloves good luck

hi there is a new type of washer just for taps called split click , plumb centres and some plumbers merchants sell them, they centralise the tap and also stop the tap from coming loose would also advise buy brass backnuts far better and slightly bigger good luck.

Hi, I have a Renault Megane 1997, I've got a problem starting it, takes ages to start and sometimes won't start at all. I got the AA out and they said it is the coil. Has anybody else had any similar problems? Don't want to start throwing loads of money fitting the wrong parts...
