    Energy Saving 3LED GU10 bulbs?

Cheers for the detailed reply chri5! I have decided to purchase 4 of the 3w LED GU10 bulbs, as these should be fine for replacing the 4 x 50w GU10 bulbs that are in the 2 up/down light fittings on the front of the house. I still want to change the 6 in the kitchen though, so I will look...

    Energy Saving 3LED GU10 bulbs?

Cheers for the reply. Do these really only consume 3watts instead of 50? If I used these in all of the gu10 fittings around the house, the electric bill should drop quite a bit lol. Cheers Adam

Looking to buy some Energy Saving GU10 light bulbs. I have seen some with half a dozen LEDs in, but have read reviews that these do not produce enough light. I'm looking for the best place to purchase some that have 2-3 LEDs in them but not sure where to buy from. They can’t be a different...

Thanks for the reply. The contact is aluminium, and is not accessible inside. This only has 4wires coming out, giving me 2 pairs. One for each reed switch. Can I double the pairs up and put them into one zone on the panel? I have run 6core cable, so can I use the spare 2 cores for tamper...

    HR Flex

Don’t really fancy spending £30 on junction boxes Lectrician! I would much rather use choc bar in a choc block if it is acceptable to have standard 2 core flex from them running to the down light. Cheers -Adam

    HR Flex

Hi taylor, the CPC is connected from the supply through to every junction box. The only place the earth doesn’t run is from the junction box to the double insulated down light(s). Could you confirm if using normal 2core flex from JB/chocbox to down light is acceptable? Cheers -Adam

    HR Flex

Hi ericmark, not looking to use maintenance free junction boxes as I will have access to them through the down light hole. Is it ok to use a chocbox which has a cable clamp for each down light, T+E in and out, and a 2 core flex from each one to the lamp? Cheers -Adam

    HR Flex

Ok great, so if I change my junction boxes to either a choc box with a cable clamp, or a junction box with a flex cable clamp, is it ok to use normal 2 core flex from this to the down light connection box? Cheers -Adam

    HR Flex

I have read the instructions, and it only shows wiring one of the down lights, not several. It does not say anything about T+E, flex or the like. These are halolite GU10 mains voltage down lights btw. EDIT: Instructions say: connect the mains supply cable(s) to the terminal block...
