    Cable in meter tails

    I went to a job today to wire in 10mm shower cable to a CU..somebody already wired from shower down to CU.. As their was no free fuseways on old wylex rewirable, somebody wired the old 6mm cable into the two meter tails on CU...has anybody come across this before...?? I ended up fitting...

    Scenario: 3 overnight storage heaters 2 work, 1 does not Seperate consumer unit for 3 breakers meter comes on between 12 and 7, can anybody tell me is it possible to troubleshoot this problem without tampering with the meter, and without working between 12 and 7. Cheers
