Such a Spanner??

Hello All
took a bath panel off the other day to try and change taps, got the cold water one off, which was nearer to me no probs.
I then came to the far hot water one, i litterally had about 3inches to spare, i could not get my conventional spanner in to loosen the nut to get pipe off.
what i was wandering? is there such a spanner or anything else that is snakelike in shape to get this off, im sure there must be something...cheers in advance..
