Don't waste your money on that rubbish, get a Rothenberger tap spanner, which will fit any size backnut.

Sorry to correct you but a sink is in the kitchen or utility room. In a bathroom, shower room or toilet you have a wash basin, basin or wash hand basin.

For a DIYer I'd not spend a fortune on a tool you'll rarely use, something like this should be OK

I can rarely get that tool in too.....I go for a box spanner (pipe off, natch) and for gawds sake chuck the plastic back nuts away, if thats what you have :p Replace them with brass ones.
