    hi, thanks for the reply- i presume that these are ok for leaks etc. Can i use one of the for a soil vent pipe as well, would using 2 of the create a problem? one for the fan one for the soil pipe? Thanks Andy

    Venting an in line fan through the roof

    Hi, i am adding a small en suite to my bedroom and i understand that i need to add a fan. However the only way for this fan to go is straight up through the roof. Is this feasible (has anyone seen this before) Does any one know of a special tile that will accept the ducting? Thanks Andy

    Hi, i am going to have my bedroom window replaced however the concrete sil underneath ithas a crack exactly in the middle of it (this is due to a cracked lintel under neath it. What should i use to fill in this crack as it lets the water into the brickwork below. Thanks in advance Andy

    Hi, thanks for the reply i was going to use some insulation around the pipe to try and stop some noise. Will the pipe really be that noisy? So does the pipe from the toilet have to go through the roof or is this where the durgo valve comes in?. What about the rodding eye? Cheers

    thanks for the reply, the architecht has suggested that if i knock another door out at the bottom of the ground floor stairs and create a landing at the bottom of this then you will be able to exit into either room directly form the stairs. he thinks this will pass? thanks andy
