    White adhesive and a grey grout. Ive cleaned it with stardrops and warm water but it still leaves some dusty marks. Any ideas? Is this tile cleaning product really the dogs or is it a load of b*lls? Cheers?

    Thanks for that. Some of the paint is comming off with tape so ive started stripping the paint off :x !! Does the wall have to be totally free of paint or are small sections ok as long as there is more plaster showing??? Cheers

    Painting new doors

    Help anyone please. Just had new doors and frames fitted. Not sure what colour i want to paint them yet or if im gonna just stain them. In the mean time i dont want them to swell so what should i use to seal them that wont react with a stain or gloss that i might use later. Cheers Dale

    Ive just had my bedroom skimmed. I currently have double glazing which is about 5 years old. Should i just paint upto the indoor window frame or is it a good idea to seal around the frame with silicone to stop any damp appearing???

    Thanks for that, just found some stuff on the net called wallwik. Looks like you score the walls and place some large sheets over the woodchip and keep wetting the sheets. Think i might give that a go as it has a money back guarantee.

    I HATE WOODCHIP!!!!!

    Any tips on removing it. Tried scoring it them streaming it, tried soaking it, tried 5" sharp scraper. There must be a quick easy method that someone knows of!!! Or am i just a lazy get!!!! :wink: Cheers Dale

    Hi, Ive had a similar problem and i found for the hassle of trying to strip the paint and make the doors look good i ended up buying new. If you shop about you can get some really good quality solid wood doors for around £15 per door. Not really a solution i know but hope this helps. Dale
