    another waterproofing question

There’s other kits on the market for the tape. Every type of board I have looked at you need to tape the joints and fixings with a water proof tape. Wedi seems to be the only one where it says you can use the sealant only, but it also says you can use the tape instead. They all seem to say use...

    Oven housing too tight

Why would the finished edge be at the rear? What support would a strip of 18mm chipboard give? Not a lot. Especially after some would need cutting away to fit the hob. John..

    Glass experts. Faulty units

That's what I thought. I got told to take pictures in no sunlight, 3m away at 90 degree angles to see if it passed the guide lines. To me it stands out like a sore thumb. I can see it from 12m away looking straight at it.

    Glass experts. Faulty units

Hi, Before I take it any further with the supplier would this glass be acceptable to you. All the lines and patterns are inside the glass. There's a bright line down the centre, diagonal lines. And something that looks like a dragons head.. Cheers John..

    filling concrete channel?

Thanks for the reply, The slab is a standard build hardcore, insulation etc, it's just my dodgy drawing. There was a 25mm strip all around the perimeter, I cut it down along the door edge as it was level with the finished floor and it is getting Amtico flooring fitted. The membrane level is...

    filling concrete channel?

What I have done is remove one course of bricks from the outer skin so the doors would be level with the inside floor. There was a strip of 25mm polystyrene all the way around the perimeter of the concrete slab, which I removed in front of the doorway ( needs self levelling) so I now have the...
