    Hello, I'm a bit worried... I think i have no main equipotential bonding in my house. From the system installed (TN-S i think?), i can't see any bonding from the MET going off to any water/gas pipes etc. Please have a look and tell me what you think...

    Not sure how old the fixed wiring is in my house but my lighting circuits and ring mains are not wired with an earth. It's just the old neutral and live in red and black. Is a rewire recommended to bring up to standard? Cheers

    Socket spur off lighting circuit

    I have a double socket in the kitchen that i use for power tools in the garden. I want to change it to an RCD socket but notice that it is a spur and is connected straight to the lighting circuit and not the ring main. Is this a problem?

    Just to let you know i answered 'NO' to the stat question. I think that 'Taylortwocities' was right. I think they are making sure i don't consider using the CPC as a live conductor. I'll let you know if i was right. Cheers for all your thoughts on the subject. Mike :wink:
