    Hello I've seen on a couple DIY proggies where they have laid reclaimed bricks then stained them to give a similar patina/shade/age. I suppose they slightly darken them ... not sure! :oops: I also saw it when they laid a crazy paving type patio of various materials: bricks, paviers...

    I've not actually removed the pump yet mate. I'll do what ever you say is best. Actually, just been checking the downstairs rad's and it will be easier for attaching the hose pipe if I use the kitchen rad. Better for draining off as well me thinks as it's close to the back door? Mick

    ... well more of a loud pop :( Sat in the bath tonight when I heard a loud 'POP' and gushing water noises. It came from the airing cupboard where the shower pump sits for the ensuite. Water was gushing out of it. So off with the supplies. Loads of buckets and mops etc and the usual panic...
