Pyronix Enforcer HomeControl+ losing the time all the time

If your mains aren't clean... what do you do? How do you know? I doubt the electricity company would be pleased to send someone out to figure this out - just because some stupid alarm company can't make a basic clock that works (being a tad provocative there)... unlike the oven maker, who can...

Pyronix Enforcer HomeControl+ losing the time all the time

Yes, I would think the panel has its own internal PSU, like any device does, that provides the stable power supply needed for it to operate. I will ask the installer about this.

Pyronix Enforcer HomeControl+ losing the time all the time

Intriguing. I wonder if Pyronix has a similar option. I'm struggling to understand how something can be so sensitive. I'm also struggling to understand what my next steps night be. The electrics should be fine - everything else in the house works! When you say PSU, what do you mean? The PSU in...

Pyronix Enforcer HomeControl+ losing the time all the time

Has anyone else ever seen this? I had a brand new Pyronix Enforcer HomeControl+ with WiFi module installed by a professional company as part of a house refurbishment - the house also had a full rewire and is certified as you'd expect, new Consumer Board, new fused spur for the alarm. My issue...

Wylex consumer board spare bits 'n bobs?

Yeah, that's the same one I'd found on eBay... I might well plump for that, but I have written to the seller, on the off-chance, that he might sell and send me the plastic cover alone - you never know, he might have one lying around that he'd like to get rid of for a tenner.

Wylex consumer board spare bits 'n bobs?

I've done some Googling but come up short. Is there an on-line place (even tried eBay) where you can easily grab spare parts for a relatively recent Wylex consumer board? The transparent plastic flip-down cover has come off - the little protrusion at the left side and come off. Booklet says...

    Shower door 'pivot hinge'?

Well, you start here - https://estore-sslserver.eu/manhattanspares.co.uk/epages/e4a4e919-729a-4099-b5a2-94a430a4fb50.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/e4a4e919-729a-4099-b5a2-94a430a4fb50/Categories - but I'll admit I cannot find the same set I'd been looking at before, which included several things...

Suitable primer for exterior concrete prior to painting?

I have a building with external concrete bits that require a repaint. I use Sandtex Ultra Smooth Masonry Paint to match. I am not sure whether it's been done with a primer before. I've certainly not used a primer when I've touched-up areas. I doubt the previous owners did to be honest. This is...

What to stick in / on this hole?

Well, the honest answer to that is that I don't even know what to ask for and I'm being guided by others. I merely assumed the roof was sound to begin with and then, when I got some discolouration on an inside wall, I checked what I could and saw that big suspicious hole - if I can't even get...

What to stick in / on this hole?

Your info. here didn't enlighten me enough (just lack of knowledge of my part) and it was the second response that got me twigging. I see, now, that you were both talking about the same thing - but I didn't even realise you were at the time. Sorry.

What to stick in / on this hole?

I've had a Roofer around just now. He can take a look Saturday for me - take 1 column of tiles off each side, up the the chimney, put new bonding gutter in place, and replace the tiles - all-in cost of £200 (he'll also clean my gutters and look at patching a leak I've noticed when it rains...

What to stick in / on this hole?

Oh, I see - that's very helpful. So maybe I do need more of a Roofer than a Handyman.

What to stick in / on this hole?

P.S. - nothing on the roof was ever done by me or anyone employed by me. Hence my lack of awareness.

The thing I've circled is intentional???

What to stick in / on this hole?

I've got a little terraced house that I let out... I've just done quite a bit of work on it and I'd noticed that an interior wall of the bedroom (adjoins next door) was discoloured. I got my head out of the Velux window up top and I can see this: This would be directly above the wall in the...

Any views on which spider lift?

I've already been hearing the reasons why the prices are so high due to... exchanges rates and Brexit. Aw! Buy British, ey? These things all seem to be Italian.

Thanks. I've used a telescopic boom thing here before... it had big tractor types and I could only get around the front. I thought cherry pickers might be the same... I thought one thing these spider lifts had going for them was their very slim profile, around 80cm wide... which means I should...

Any views on which spider lift?

I've been out this morning and seen these for the first time face-to-face. I've been up to 14m in a Hinowa 14.70. I've seen a CMC S15 and compared them side-by-side. Out of the two machines, the CMC S15 is more desirable, that's for sure. There's not much wrong with the Hinowa but you use...

Any views on which spider lift?

While a 5-figure sum might seem a frightening prospect, it becomes less so when compared to the cost of erecting scaffolding around the house - £4,400 for 2.5 weeks was the best quote I'd got. With that you end up with nothing, you have a finite timeframe in which to get stuff done, it annoys...
