your missing some earth sleving :lol: that junction box needs sorting out before you start taking feeds off it :D if you can try and find what cable are feeding in the junction box then we will go from there :wink:

the installation is only 5 years old and basicaly i have to do the additional works then a full test im moving 2 switch wires and adding 2 outside lights off the downstairs lighting circuit and changing the mcb to a rcbo to bring it 2 the 17th eddition so im not sure what 2 do 4 the...

just started testing and inspecting recently just want to know if im doing about 4 additional jobs to lighting circuits ect do i have to do 4 minor works certs or can i just do a domestic installation cert instead (domestic work) :roll: thanks :D

how long would an averrage kitchen take to rewire with a fan, cooker ciruit and sockets ect( first fix) and the same for the shower with a fan, fan switch first fix i know its hard unless you see the setup just need a roof idea thanks :roll:

i just want to know when your doing a periodic test on a domestic house if the lighting circuit dosent have rcd protection and the cooker circuit dosent have rcd protection what codes should they be? :roll: sorry about the first message :oops:

i have no problem doing a pir, i just wasent sure if you had to have a seperate cert for the fire alarm, we all need experience when were just starting off
