how long would an averrage kitchen take to rewire with a fan, cooker ciruit and sockets ect( first fix)



and the same for the shower with a fan, fan switch first fix


i know its hard unless you see the setup just need a roof idea

2 days first fix from shell for a kitchen, depending on the number of outlets and accessibility to floor / ceiling and ease of route back to CU.
also depends on wall types and material.. obviously it'll take longer to chase walls and sink boxes in an engineering brick wall than it will to drop cables down a studwork wall..
 

Assuming all feeds are in place are adequate:

on average

In room wiring first fix to plan. = 2 days
Run cables for stupid amount of downlights (assumes ceiling has been removed) = 1 day
Second fix for all accessories = 1 day
Drill holes for stupid amount of downlights and fish for cables that have been moved/trapped by new plasterboard = 1 day
Return to site to add feed because customer has decided to have underfloor heating at last minute = 1 day
Return to site because plumber has drilled through cables when fitting radiator = ½ day
Return to site because delivered kitchen is different to plan and/or last minute granite wortop includes upstand. Some points/under or in cupboard lighting have to be moved = ½ day
Run new feed because customer decided to have induction hob/steam oven/warming drawer/wine cooler/plinth heaters etc
= priceless!
 
what about the time to rip most of it out again and replace it because the fitter has hit every cable drop when fixing up the wall units?
 
exactly, had one before that managed to drill out the CPC completly and re-energised the circuit, all was seemingly ok, until RFC continuity tests were checked and lo and behold....

According to the regs, this can't possibly happen if you install cables within 150mm of the corners of rooms. :D

Also if the cables are running directly down to the accessory, as they were.
