    thanks! whatever it is - it makes me anxious about touching anything on this wall..... but it seems a door to replace the window shouldnt be a problem by the sounds of it! and yes this is a boiler flue....if anything however the max height of the door will actually be lower than a max height...

    the conservatory? is that the rules? my main concern at this stage is the man holes do you know why there are 2? thats my main concern as the circular one would be "inside" the new proposed side extension then how do you keep it accessible if its indoors i want to tile/vinyl the floor......

    do you know why there are TWO man holes though? the red shapes? i think the rectangle is the original and the circular is as a result of the shower room built around 20 years ago.....but not sure.... not even sure how i can find out? council have this information?

    i did google it but they are all fancy side extensions with bi folding doors and clear perspex roofs that sit at 45 degree angles lol i just want to do the cheapest job possible lol but at this stage i just wanted to see if there were any massive barriers to this i assume planning permission...

    p.s assure you its cheaper and better. virgin broadband is much much better. sky tv is much much better. sky is used mainly for large array of foreign channels. virgin has all the footy. changing channels - sky - magic eye virgin - iphone app :)

    thank you! seems simple enough . but remember i have tivo too! and freeview signal from lounge needs to reach dining room and bedroom too...... it does seem like it would work great tbh but i cant justify that much money at this time so would rather stick to the SD picture its not bad in grand...

    yes its for specific programmes and it works out cheaper than having sky multi room when i do the maths i think i'll just keep it as is anyway it seems to much hassle. thanks for advice however :)
